background

Welcome to our round 2 race report from home circuit of Oulton Park in Cheshire, in partnership with PR Racing for the 2022 season.

Using our custom-designed boxes and instructions the team can get the trackside IT operational easily with Applicita, providing remote and onsite support in case of any technical/hardware issues.

The PR Racing riders experienced mixed conditions during qualifying and blistering pace during each race, which made for a tough weekend for the team.

Well done to both riders as they produced their best performances during the final BSB race of the weekend!

“It was a tough weekend, we didn’t really get going until (Sunday) morning warm up. Going into Round 3, I need to push from the off, with a strong FP1 and build with every session.”

Dan Linfoot

“It was a really good weekend for me. I started off struggling a little bit because, like all the circuits, it is the first time I have ridden a superbike and it is a massive learning experience. I’m really happy with the work the team and I have done.”

the tech

A single allocated garage meant squeezing all the infrastructure into a small space to maximize the room for engineers to work on the bikes.

We tested a backup internet connection but a congested public 4G network led to latency issues. A better solution is necessary in case of primary satellite link failure.

All telemetry data was captured from the 2 bikes over the weekend and synchronized to PR Racing’s cloud environment where the engineers review and collaborate.
